![]() ![]() Check out Demetri Bowser’s terminal for an email and two utilities - but don’t reset the test chambers just yet. Be sure to loot the toolbox, before heading into the desk area that was off-limits before. Now that the illusion has been shattered, you can find some of the walls are in fact glass windows that you can break open to enter the halls beyond - not that there’s much to find beyond some explosive canisters.Įntering the “TranStar” building, you’ll find both roof entrance and testing area are one. Head out to the “roof” to find this too was a sham. For a fun little effect, try sending the elevator to the roof, and the hallway will try and reset itself. If it escapes, it will likely flee to an area with more props - like Morgan’s apartment.Īfter killing and looting the mimic, enter the door at the end to bypass the hall, and find another door leading past the fake elevator. Look for two of the same prop near each other to get a clue as to what it might be, and go in swinging. Remember what happened to the scientist’s cup? There’s a mimic hiding in the room, and it will jump out at you when you get close. Heading down the hall into the storage area, you’ll find lots of replacement props - including wine bottles you can carry that restore health (but get you a bit tipsy).Īs you move into the storage area, there are two things to note: One is that the doors here lead back to the apartment hall - and the second is that one of the props in the storage area is not a prop. There’s an interesting email about a “bad install” that sheds a bit of light on your previous tests.Įxiting the room, you can find a secret entrance back to your apartment, and a door leading to where the elevators are, and some junk you can pick up - but first, let’s check the storage area going the opposite way. It’s password protected, but a sticky note provides the password. At the very least, check out the note on the table, and Marco Simmons’ terminal. However, the whiteboard on the left used to have the safe combination, but it’s been erased. There’s a weird chair in the middle, and on the right - a safe. Creepy.Ĭheck out the debriefing room (and note the monitor on the right with the skybox from the city you thought you lived in). If you look through the shuttered windows - you can even spot the testing chambers you were in earlier. Up the steps you can find signs pointing right to Simulation Debriefing and Observation, and Storage to the left. Now that you’re on the other side of the glass, be sure to check out the nearby computer - Evelyn McCarthy’s terminal for two emails and an interesting sound effect utility. There’s a lot to take in here, but first - January will call again to give you your next task: Escape the Simulation Chamber. Use your wrench and smash the jammed glass door to the patio to reveal the sham you’ve been living in. Since the doors in the hall are still locked, return to your apartment and grab any last items you missed - you won’t be waking up here again anytime soon.
